Mercedes New E-Class

Mercedes presents its new model New E Class. The new E class has more than 20 new or further technical developments. Before the production, new E series had lots of tests all around the world in different road and weather conditions.
Here are some technical highlights of new E-Class:
Adaptive Highbeam Assist: This system adjusts the range of the headlamps in accordance with the distance to oncoming vehicles/vehicles travelling ahead.
Adaptive brake lights: Flashing brake lights warn vehicles behind in an emergency braking situation.
BlueTEC: This highly effective exhaust-gas aftertreatment using an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) catalytic converter and AdBlue® injection allows the vehicle to comply with the rigorous EU6 emissions standard.
DISTRONIC PLUS: This radar-based proximity control system automatically maintains the E-Class at a set distance from the vehicle in front, braking it to a standstill if necessary and accelerating when the gap ahead is sufficiently large. If the distance to the vehicle ahead decreases too quickly, the system gives the driver visual and audible warnings.
Nightview Assist Plus: The dashboard display shows a realistic greyscale image from an infrared camera which monitors the situation ahead of the E-Class. The display has a highlight function to draw attention to pedestrians.
Brake Assist PLUS: This system uses radar sensors to recognise an impending head-to-tail collision, calculates the necessary degree of braking assistance and makes it available immediately the driver presses the brake pedal.
